Slippery Rock University students will be competing for bragging rights and cash prizes at an art show beginning this week.
The Juried Student Art Exhibition begins Monday and will continue through April 19th at the Martha Gault Art Gallery. The Gallery is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Each student will be able to submit up to three pieces of art made in Art Department classes for consideration.
First place will win $150, second is $100, and third will be $50 from Art Department Scholarship account. Winners will be announced at an awards reception Monday at 5:30 p.m.
