As alumni and friends return to Slippery Rock University for Homecoming, we celebrate the traditions and lasting connections that make The Rock an important part of so many lives. Our shared pride in SRU extends far beyond campus, connecting generations of students, alumni and friends. Homecoming honors that legacy and looks toward the University’s next chapter.
Today, we build on that foundation with the launch of Because this is The Rock, a $35 million comprehensive campaign that marks a significant milestone in the history of Slippery Rock University. Grounded in the priorities of The First-Choice strategic plan, this campaign will advance our vision for the future and strengthen SRU’s position as a first choice for students, a first choice for employers and a catalyst for our region.
