Slippery Rock’s offense powered its way to a 25-1 win over the Mounties in a nine inning non-conference game Monday afternoon in Kissimmee, FL.
The Mountaineers scored their only run of the game in the fourth inning when Colby Schearer drove in Owen Lukens on an RBI single to right field. Mansfield (3-4, 0-0 PSAC) held The Rock scoreless in the seventh inning.
Matt Gordon earned the win for Slippery Rock (6-2, 0-0 PSAC) pitching 7.0 innings with no earned runs. Hunter DePrimo took the loss.
