One person was hurt in a three-vehicle crash in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Lisa M. Herbert, 25, of New Castle, one of the drivers, was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle with unknown injuries.
Police said Herbert was traveling east on Route 422 east of Stoner Drive when her sport utility vehicle struck the back of a tractor-trailer driven by David Clark, 46, of Enon Valley. Following the collision, the SUV hit a pickup truck.
The driver or owner of the truck was not identified in a police report. The report said Herbert was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.
