March 21 — Jesse J. Rudish, 36, of Slippery Rock was charged with having marijuana and other contraband at a home in Slippery Rock Township.

Police said they were called to the 500 block of Kiester Road for a business owner attempting to recover a work vehicle from a recently fired employee. The owner said he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and noticed drug paraphernalia in the driver’s door, according to court documents.

A search of the vehicle turned up about 9 grams of suspected marijuana and two smoking pipes.

Rudish admitted that he was the only one to drive the work vehicle for the past four months, documents said. He also allegedly admitted the illegal items were his.

He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
