Each candidate’s vita is available on the university’s presidential search webpage.

Next steps include a meeting of the search committee May 10 to review the feedback from the surveys and the interaction with the Clarion University community. At the end of that meeting, the search committee may recommend two candidates to the Council of Trustees.

The Council of Trustees has scheduled a special public meeting to review the recommendations May 11. If approved by the Council of Trustees, those names will be forwarded to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors, who will interview the candidates and select the next president of Clarion University.

In March, following open forums for three presidential candidates, including Urban, the Presidential Search Committee opted to extend the search in order to find additional qualified candidates to be considered for Clarion University president.
