“This group of poems is an expanded collection of poetry from my previous book, ‘Darkling Dreams.’ I set out to begin with the things that haunted me because once I did, everything else fell into place. Contained within these pages are words that will hopefully move you. If they do, then I have met my goal, and I thank you for that,” said Perkins.
