The Harrisville American Legion Auxiliary 852 will conduct a winter item drive Oct. 1 – Nov. 10.
Members are collecting socks, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. There will be collection boxes at:
- Harrisville American Legion Post, 227 Prairie Street, Harrisville, PA 16038;
- Family Tradition restaurant, 531 S. Main Street, Harrisville, PA 16038; and
- DR Distillery, 1140 Kiester Road, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
Items collected will be donated to the Slippery Rock and Grove City food banks for them to pass out just before Christmas.
