A 58-year-old Slippery Rock man reported that someone stole the tailgate off his 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 while the pickup was parked in a dirt parking lot across from the County Fair gas station on South Center Street Extension in Pine Township.

The theft occurred between 05:00 a.m. and 05:30 p.m. The tailgate is valued at $200.
