The Slippery Rock University Council of Trustees will hold two days of meetings later this week.
Thursday’s schedule includes committee meetings in Room 320 of the Smith Student Center. The Academic and Student Affairs Committee will meet at 01:15 p.m. Thursday to hear about two program proposals; the Finance Committee will meet at 02:15 p.m. to discuss a budget report; and the University Advancement Committee will meet at 03:15 p.m.
The Governance Committee will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday, also in Room 320 of the Smith Student Center, followed by the quarterly business meeting at 11:00 a.m. in the Smith Student Center Theatre.
Council Chair Jeff Smith will present the University with the 2018 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, the highest U.S. government honor for employers who support National Guard and Reserve employees.
All meetings are open to any students, faculty, or community members who would like to attend.
