Jessica Lynn Boswell, 32, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Tampa General Hospital surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous and fearless battle with cancer.
Jessica was born, Jessica Halfast, in Oil City, on Dec. 25, 1985, and grew up in Centerville on her parents’ farm. She was the daughter of Dennis and Karen (Harvey) Halfast.
She graduated from Titusville High School in 2004. Following graduation, she attended college in Slippery Rock and later, college in Edinboro.
Jessica moved to south Florida in 2008 and was not long after offered a position at The Cheesecake Factory. Jessica was an assistant general manager for The Cheesecake Factory where she was employed for 10 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Boswell; her two young sons, Channing Jeffrey and Brayden Robert Boswell; as well as her beloved dog, King. She also leaves behind her parents; brothers, Adam S. Halfast and James T. Greer; and sister, Heather M. Carey; grandmother, Flora Harvey; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Jessica was an incredible person who loved spending time with her two children, husband, close friends, and family. She loved going to the beach and enjoying a margarita with husband, Jeff, and her close friends. She also enjoyed an active lifestyle, she loved running, working out, horseback riding in Pennsylvania, and was an avid basketball fan, especially the Miami Heat.
When “family was in town,” it was always something she looked forward to.
At Jessica’s request, there will be a “celebration of life” in Fort Lauderdale, FL, on the beach, on April 19, at 11:00 a.m. There will also be a “celebration of life” held in Pennsylvania, with a date to be determined.
