A Saxonburg resident is among three Concordia Lutheran Ministries staffers who were recently promoted by the organization.

Karen Beilstein, who began her career at Concordia 17 years ago as a dishwasher, was promoted to director of nursing for the company’s Skilled Nursing Unit in Cabot.

Beilstein, who had been assistant director of nursing for the unit, will be replaced in that position by Regina Brosenitsch of Fenelton. Brosentisch is a graduate of Butler County Community College, where she received an associate degree in nursing. She had been a supervisor before her promotion.

Also promoted was Wendy Moore of New Bethlehem, who will be Concordia’s new corporate director of skilled nursing. Moore is a graduate of Slippery Rock University and joined Concordia in 2011.

Concordia is an aging services network that serves more than 20,000 people in Western Pennsylvania each year, and offers services that include adult day care, assisted living, home care, hospice, medical and rehabilitation services, and retirement living.
