Karen Marie Buono and Joseph L. Johnson III were united in marriage on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida. A second wedding was held March 12th at the Grand Plaza Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida, followed by a reception overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Buono of Hopewell. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson of Temple Terrace, Florida.
The bride is a graduate of Hopewell High School. She graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in Resort Management and Business. She also earned her Elementary Education Teaching Certificate from Saint Petersburg College. She teaches 2nd grade in Tampa, Florida.
The groom graduated from University of South Florida with a degree in Criminology. He is a group benefits manager for MetLife in Tampa, Florida.
After a honeymoon to Grenada, they are living in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
