Athlete Of The Week Award Goes To Maddy Marshall

Maddy Marshall, women’s indoor track, tied teammate Courtney McQuaide for the win in the pole vault at the All Hall Freedom Games with an NCAA provisional mark of 3.85 meters. She ranks first in the PSAC and sixth in the nation this season.

Maddy is majoring in Environmental Geosciences.

2017 (Outdoor): Named PSAC Freshman of the Year after qualifying for National Championships in pole vault … placed 13th at nationals in outdoor debut … runner-up at the PSAC Championships after clearing a career-best and NCAA mark of 3.96 meters … earned All-Region honors in pole vault … competed in four meets … had four top-five finishes and two wins … PSAC Scholar-Athlete … USTFCCCA All-Academic.

2016-17 (Indoor): Competed in eight meets … Had six top 10 finishes and four top five finishes … Placed second in the Pole Vault with an NCAA mark of 3.77m at the PSAC Championships … Placed 13th in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.77m at the NCAA DII Championships in nationals debut … All-Region in pole vault … PSAC Scholar Athlete … USTFCCCA All-Academic.

High School: Lettered four times in both track & field and gymnastics.
